On 3 May 2009 published The Hunt for Gollum was Independent Online Cinema .
It is a kind of fan film and a tribute to JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings . The film includes a narrative gap between The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings and Aragorn tells the hunt for Gollum, the ring support and longtime companion of Frodo Baggins fate later on the way to Mordor.
The film tries to visually and narratively be connected to the Peter Jackson interpretation of Tolkien's Ring trilogy.
Beautiful atmosphere, successful implementation of a narrative fragment and definitely worth a movie night!
